yay booked my venue!

yay!! after checking out like 15 places we finally booked at the Sand Castle for Sept 2011 !!!!!
Now the real stress begins... so little time left~!!

is it doable????

Are you doing your ceremony there as well? You should definitely book your ceremony and officiant.

I would also say Photo/Video is next. It was for me. That's the most important. You CAN go wtih the smae company. We did not. We're using Artisan for Photo and Couped Up for Video.

I would DEFINITELY also go for your dress. They told me to order mine 8 months out, so you're down to the wire.

Then I'd move on to DJ, Hair and Makeup, etc, basically start with the companies that might be booked for your date.

Florists, limo companies, etc can do many weddings on the same day, but if you're looking for a specific car, I would say you should book that soon too!

also invites!! im in september too and I was told I need to order by Feb to avoid rush fees

and you do not have to book photo and video together it depends on what you want

i have separate photographer and videographer, not from same company

Start the dress process! It will help out with so many other decisions (BM dresses, suits/tuxes, overall vibe/style/theme, flowers, etc)....you can really start to put together your vision.

I would also book a band/dj asap....this is such a key element of a wedding!!!

Do you have ideas of what you're looking for? If you have some ideas, we can make vendor suggestions and then you can contact them through LIW, or on your own to see who is available. LIW has a great tool...somewherewhere you can fill out a form with the vendors you still need and people who are available will contact you. You WILL get a LOT of calls though

Like are you looking for a band or a DJ? Do you want them over the top and upbeat, or more elegant and down to earth? Are you looking for anything specific, like a white DJ Booth, or a caribbean steel drum band for CH?
What's your budget?

Are you looking for a specific style of photo and video? Photojournalism and/or more traditional? For the video, do you want cinema style or something more standard? (I'm really happy with both of my choices in this category)

Does your hall require you to use a specific florist? There are a lot of florists who do amazing work. Did you have something specific in mind? We can post pics.
