We booked our venue today at Westbury Manor! I'm so relieved that first step is out of the way. We got a really good price b/c it is on Holy Saterday (april 10th). I am kind of concerned about the weather during that time though. The gardens are gorgeus and we are having it at night. Weather permitting determines if we have an indoor or outdoor ceremony and cocktail hr. Do any of you have experience w/ early April weddings? What is the weather usually like? I tried looking up weather history, but can't seem to find a good site. Anyone have a good weather history site?
Congratulations on deciding on a reception location. I too am hoping that the weather holds out for me to have an outside ceremony. If you go to accuweather's website and put in the zip code of where the reception is at the bottom there is a 'history' of the past year. Hope this helps a little.
You could also try www.wunderground.com If you put in your zipcode there also there will be a spot to go to history of weather where you will find both weather conditions for that day and also sunrise and sunset times.
