Yay ebay!!!!

I love me some ebay.

How perfect is this:

We have been trying to get a dehumidifier for the past week. If you havent tried to get one lately, let me tell you - there are none to go around. Sears, Home Depot (DH tried a few HD's), PC Richards, I forget where else...

I tried ebay and figured I'd do a search on LI and maybe pick it up (no shipping costs or wait time). The first auction that came up was ending in 13 minutes and it was the exact one we need - its a Kenmore 30 pint (for 1/2 basement). It was in 'Like New' condition. So I win the auction for $67.00. They are $140 brand new. And....the place to pick it up is in Farmingdale, 4 1/2 miles North of our house in a straight line!!! DH got it this morning and he said it looks brand new and is working great.

YAY!!! OK, its just a dehumidifier but you gotta rejoice when even the smallest things work out so perfectly

My girlfriend actually purchased a washer and dryer from Ebay for 1/2 the price of the store. It was Sears and if you need appliances you should check them out! She picked hers up but I think they are starting to do deliveries!!
