Yes I am a DORK and every year I still get back to school clothes as a teacher. I went today because I had a coupon for NY & Co and got SUCH cute shirts and can I say I am soooo excited the whole botton down shirt and sweater vest combo is back in style. I think it is too cute.
Anyway so I got a bunch of stuff at NY and CO and then I hit the gap and got the freakin cutest jeans I have ever put on my body. They are like fitted at the waist and are wide leg down to the floor. WHOO HOOO. I also got my 1st day of school outfit. A cute skirt with little pleats at the bottom that comes below the knee and a black sleeveless top to go with it. Oh and I also got a pair of dress pants (SOO excited as I usually do NOT fit in gap clothes AT all...but I lost some weight YAY) and a orange cable knit turtle neck
Ok.. for those who read this far you must know my insanity and respect it
ETA I also got my standard 'teacher' sweater for the winter. I am always freezing and ALWAYS keep a knit hooded sweater with a tie wasit and big bottons in my room...found that an H and M and decided on a cream this year instead if the usual black

I dont have to wear nice clothes to school thank goodness. When they pay me enough to shop til I drop, then I might care more. Til then, it is t-shirts and jeans!

That is awesome. Love jean fridays! I am waiting to go back to school shopping, as NYC is having a tax free week starting the 31st. Congrats on all of the purchases

Where I work, we are often on the floor with the kids. We also have to dodge projectile emissions from the children so it doesn't pay to dress well. I was never more sick in my life until I became a teacher. I love kids but they do some very gross things.

I love shopping too..... But, I am going to wait a few weeks until everything goes on SALE! I am always so proud of myself when I get a good deal!
