yay for VD!

he he Valentine's Day NOT the other VD!

today is my tenth valentine's day - we don't really celebrate bc we hate going to restaurants on Valentine's since they are alwayas crowded and used pre prepared food and limited menus - yuck

but we always get food or make dinner and hang out

but guess what? his uncle who is a plumber is coming today to work on upstairs so our whole ghetto celebration may be canceled. . .of course i was an adult about it on the OUTSIDE but on the inside this is me:



UPDATE: FH's uncle left already! i got out of work an hour early! i got a dozen roses from FH! and tonight we are renting a movie and ordering in!

that stinks that your celebration may be cancelled....you can always make up for it tomorrow or on the weekend!!

Ya got me Matilde!! I was thinking to myself... But she's been with her FH for soooo long, how could that be?!



Maybe you can have a psuedo Valentine's day tomorrow.

yeah thought more people would read it that way!

and my Valentine's started off so nice - my dad woke up early, started my car and cleaned it off for me - it was such a nice surprise

AND my mom got my a valentine's shirt!

see my parents are better at this whole day then FH. . .lol jk its not his fault just wanted a pity party

I know how you feel, FH called me earlier at 11:30am to tell me he is leaving work early bc he got the flu and is not feeling well at all, so im guessing were not gonna go out for v-day, and i was sooo looking forward to the food at the restaurant lol, but just doing something for our first engaged v-day...he said what about tomorrow, but i said no its my birthday i want to also spend it with my parents. But yeah i felt bad bc he is real sick and feels horrible about the whole thing, but inside i am sad

Aww Tilde your not along!!! FH and I are in the process of buying a co-op. SO in the meantime he lives with 5 other people and I still live with my parents....So much for alone time!!!!

that stinks Matilde but you're not alone it looks like our ghetto Valentine's day is going to be spoiled too just because the roads are probably going to be to icy and I don't want FH driving on them.

p.s. - we were only going to snuggle up on the couch, watch lost and have some hot chocolate but seeing as how we don't live together and almost never do that I was sooooooooo looking forward to it!
