YAY! got a camcorder in time for the wedding /honeymoon...

we've been meaning to buy one for ages, but wanted a high optical zoom and built-in harddrive, and good low-light / sound quality, which until 6 months ago, made it about 1k

We checked whats around now.... and prices came down A LOT!!!! so we bought a camcorder this morning... it will be here in time for the wedding (we only have a photographer for the wedding, no video...)

best part about it? we also found a spare battery and charger with a european adapter plug!!!

I'm a newegg.com loyalist. they have amazing customer service, protection policies, low prices, and a better selection than a physical store....

congrats!!! make sure you teach someone else how to use it so they can capture your first dance & stuff you might be doing!! I bought my bro one as his wedding gift years ago since they didn't have video...lasted thru all 3 kids being born as well!

thats awesome! camcorders are a MUST on HMs no, besides THAT reason, they really are awesome to have! We always video tape our trips and its AWESOME to go back and watch it every now and again with friends

Thats awesome. We are starting to look for one. My FH is going to drive a nascar on our HM. I told him it was a must that we get one.

oh, I already thought of that... FBIL is a technophile... FH already asked him to do it. The first OOT'ers are coming (from australia!) the weekend before the wedding and FH's family is coming together that weekend to greet them... so FBIL will be introduced to it then. I'm sure he'll pick it up quickly.

so happy we have a european plug to use for a battery re-charge... will go to good use in greece!
