Yay! I am going back to college.

I have decided to just apply to Queens College. NYU and Pace are way too expensive. I would rather not take out any more loans. I am very excited.

For anyone who goes there or who has gone there recently, did you like it? How's the campus? Tell me what you know.

I went to Queens for half of my undergrad and I really liked it. I'm at NYU for grad school right now and the only way to afford is to work there for the free tuition benifits...

I actually think I got a better education at Queens!

Ok, you might not want to hear my opinion of QC butI will tell you the truth from my experience. I hated it! The only 2 things I got from that school was my BA and my FH. There is NO feeling of 'campus life' and to me it seemed very racially and culturally segregated. I didnt like that at all. The professors were good, but just didnt care.

I am sorry, this was just my own experience there.

I go to QC and yes it is very divided, but I have found that on every campus I have ever been too.

I love QC. I have been there for 3.5 years now working on my masters and I am graduating this June. It has been a tough road but well worth it. Looking back now I feel I have accomplished so much. I am in the education department and love it and I have taken many geology courses and liked themn as well. I am not one to look for campus life though. I make it there just in time to get to class on time and leave the second class ends. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.

My only advice, pay the insane fee to get a parking pass to park on campus. You still need to walk far, but I rather park on campus then come out when its dark out and walk the streets to find my car.
