Yay!!!!! Made my

1st Dress Appointment for Monday after work. Woo hoo, can't wait!!!

Anything I should know before I go?

Yay!!!! Congrats!!!!
The only advice I can give is keep an open mind and try on every style of dress. I never thought I'd buy a strapless dress, but once I put it on-I loved it!!
Have fun!!!

i agree with Stacey. be open minded & try on different styles, you may be surprised with what actually looks good on you.

also don't take too many opinionated people with you. it should be a positive experience. a lot of opinionated people are going to make you easily stressed.

ITA.... our dress is nothing like what i was looking for at first

I just went for my first dress appt - def wear full seaters!

try on EVERYTHING! in my experience, i ended up picking a gown that was not what i thought was 'my style' or what i had always had in mind for my wedding gown......but it worked out for me!!!!


have fun!!!!

wear full underweard and birng a strapless bra (not all places have bras)
if you can bring shoes
bring 1-2 ppl..max...

and like the girls said try on everything... i ended up w/the gown i dindt want to try on! lol

Thanks, that's what a lot of girls tell me - I will just try on a bunch of dresses and only taking my MOH's with me.

Try them all on and keep an open mind

def keep an open mind... i was so against strapless but it turns out that that's what i picked... also the dress may look different when it's hung up vs when you try it on

Like the other girls said: strapless bra and full coverage underwear.

Keep an open mind- try on dresses in styles you havent even considered. I did this, but ended up going back to the original style I loved.

If possible (not all salons allow it)- take pics!
