we are on major diets, but we get one cheat day a week...

I would def go for it, no reason not to enjoy yummy cake and your anniversary is certainly a good reason to cheat.

Re writing: I wouldn't bother, unless you want to put something completely random.

no - well one of our layers was chocolate mousse. But it is not going to look like our cake did.

that is a cute idea though. maybe for next time.
