i have this crazy visual of what I want it to be and look like, but someone told me it'd clear a dance way too fast.

Actually this is one of my fav memories of my wedding. I was sooooo against any type of cordinated dance but my cousin kept bugging me to start a congo line. So I made a deal with her if the next song the band played was awesome then I would start it......sure enough the song was 'Love Train' and it was the best! We had every single person up and it was definitely in my top 3 of best things on my wedding day.

Doesn't anyone remember TWOTY???? They played the conga RIGHT after the first dance and the dance floor CLEARED THE EFF OUT!
I remember because I commented to Amanda Picone about it when I passed her with her shocked looking face coz everyone was going to sit back down

Originally we didn't want to do one. But my cousin took it upon herself and just started grabbing people to do the conga line. It ended up being fun and it let the families mingle a little bit better. So I voted Yay.
