Pole dancing class Chill/drink by pool at Empire hotel Have dinner at TAO or Buddakan LIPS or Lucky Chengs Then back to hotel bar/room to party some more.
My Q is: do you think the bride will like a silly place like LIPS or Lucky Chengs? I'm nervous about it. I feel like there is only so much eating drinking you can do, why not be entertained.

I vote Lucky Chengs!!! That is where I am going for my b-party I figured it should be a fun night, but I hate strippers so that was the next best 'raunchy' thing I could do.

It depends on the bride, it's hard to say without knowing her, but if you're going for all these other really fun things like pole dancing, I think it fits!

Probably...I hear that the food is not the greatest but I'm not too worried, we're going for the atmosphere haha

FYI dont go pole dancing too close to the wedding I did it with a bridal party I was in and we were really bruised after it.

I can only speak of the food at the LIPS in Ft Lauderdale (the only one I've ever been to)...but the food was surprisingly awesome! I've been there twice and I've gotten the same thing twice (stuffed chicken breast). I am going with FH in a few weeks and I am looking forward to the food again.....whoa I sound like a LIPS groupie

I went to LIPS for my Bachelorette party. I loved it! It was so much fun. I haven't been to Lucky Cheng's so I can't comment on that, but if you go to LIPS you won't be disappointed. I definitely think you should go to one of the places for something different :)

i went to a bach party at lucky chengs an i did not like it..the food was horrible and i reember the bill was like 150 a girl for drinks that we could have paid half at a club or bar where there was dancing..jmho girls

Although I have never been there, I have also heard that the food is not so good and quite expensive, but you are planning on doing dinner somewhere else anyway so that doesn't seem to be an issue for you.
I would say just make sure that the bride is into that kind of stuff. Not everyone is. I am not and when I was recently invited to a bacherlorette party and that's where they were going, I declined. If she has said that it is somewhere she would really like to try then I would go for it regardless of what the food is like or the cost.
If your not sure, I would do a club instead. Its safer and cheaper.

Never been to LIPS. Food at Lucky Cheng's is okay but overpriced, in my opinion.
I love Buddakan and Tao.

lucky chengs...i went there for a bach party and it was ok. they had like a pre fix type menu and we chose the one that had lighter choices (we actually ate before we went into the city). the food was not good AT ALL. and although i did enjoy the entertainment, the place was a little dingy. not sure if i would ever go back tehre again i dont know what LIPS is so im no help there
