I love the microfiber - my sister spilled a glass of red wine on it a few days after we got it ... didn't even leave a stain. it is sooo comfortable too!

I put 'we sit on milk crates', because you didn't list encyclopedias. Actually, we now share Husband's monster chair, which IS REALLY COMFY, but I don't want our new sofa to resemble it!! Mary MOB

i have to admit i also prefer fabric couches. But brown leather couches can be nice. Also ive seen lighter colored ones too that are nice

yah, we are getting this for our loft which will be our cozy, hangout area. the leather will be for the more formal (but still informal) living room.. if that makes sense

WOW mary, that looks like one amazing chair. if i sat in it, i dont know that i would EVER get up is it microfiber?

i have been told NOT to get microfiber because it doesnt hold up well? im sooo confused i hate furniture shopping

It's microfiber, and surprisingly, since it gets sat in a lot, because it's more comfy than encyclopedias, it got some tiny marks on, which I cannot get off with just water, and I thought it would clean better than that. This chair was a surprise to me; Husband bought it without consulting me! Can you imagine?? I know why he did that; I had my feet dug in that we would get no furniture until new floor covering came first. Mary MOB
