Yay! We Officially Booked our DJ!
we officially met with our DJ last night to discuss what we want for the wedding. my FH works for the company so we were able to get a great deal which of course made me want to get everything ![]()
it was nice that we got to go over everything in person, fill out the contract and most importantly find out how much it would cost us ![]()
they started doing uplighting - so they are going to bring it for us - we decided on the color red for now.....people who know the room - imagine a square around the dancefloor - that is where the uplighting would be - in the four corners of the square - which ends up being behind us to the left and right (not directly behind us) and opposite us, to the left and right of the DJ
we are getting 4 plasma tv screens - 2 behind us (on the right and left) and then 2 where the DJ sets up (on the right and left) so there will be 4 tvs set up symmetrically on both sides of the circle
we are getting 8 lights for now with haze (which i have to make sure JT allows) 5 lights on the top of the truss and one on each side of the truss in the middle - so 8 lights total....i dont really know about lights but that is what FH likes - if he starts programming them the day of the wedding i will kill him!
we are also having 2 DJs - the guy who FH always works parties with, who i love, and another DJ - the one who did our e-party - he does a few clubs in Jersey and he does great remixes and mash ups so we are excited we are having him too!
FH is making our montage - i have no idea what he doing with it and i cant wait to see it (especially since i have a feeling he is putting video clips in it!) we decided our montage will be played right before the toast....
FH is also making a friends and family montage that will be played during dinner
the DJ will take pictures during the CH and will put them up on the TV's (i think these are called zap shots)
A slideshow/montage of my Dad and I will play on the TVS while we dance - FH is going to make that too
We're having a ceremony recap right before the VH - a short video montage of the ceremony, me walking down the aisle, us saying our vows, stuff like that......
We are having a drummer/bong guy like at TWOTY....
im trying to think of what else![]()

well anyway, i just wanted to share my excitement! my friends and family wont know what the hell im talking about and probably dont want to hear about it anyways![]()
i hope its not too much - but since we are getting it for practically nothing i couldnt resist having everything ![]()
