Ok so... after months of creeping around the liweddings boards... looking at pictures of all of your rings...and reading everything all of you brides have to say about weddings... I AM FINALLY ENGAGED!!! My boyfriend...um fiance(strange) just proposed yesterday & I finally registered here becuase I never wanted to jinx it!! SO I AM OFFICIALLY A LI BRIDE!!! YAY!! Now I can go look at reception halls & pick out photographers & post pictures of MY ring!!! (much better than living vicariously through all of you ladies) lol
Well, I am BURSTING with questions and I know that you will all be so helpful... but I just needed to say HI to my fellow brides... I am one of you!!!

Thank you so much for all of the well wishes!! As if this isn't an emotional time as it is....haha
The proposal... well, we are moving into a new house soon, and we spent this last week starting the renovation & ripping it to shreds to start all over again- So on monday night we went down to the house just the two of us to get some work done-- I was wearing the WORST outfit... I'm talking dirty sweatpants, an inside out sweatshirt & sandals with socks--OMG! Well he's hammering away in the house with the radio on & I was outside & he calls me to come in there so I walk in & he kisses me & starts dancing with me to 'She's got a way' by billy joel on the radio. I thought it was just a sweet moment the two of us in what will soon be our living room, so he twirls me around & when I turn back to him he is down on one knee with an unbelievable ring & he asked me to marry him!!! I was so hysterical crying that I didnt even say yes!!! haha-- he wanted to do it like that to start our new life in the house together... I AM SO LUCKY!! Ok well that's my story-- since I'm SUCH a newbie I'm not sure how to post my ring yet but I'll learn soon enough... look for me on those 'post your ring' boards!!! Thanks again for welcoming me!!!!
BTW- my FH(I think that's my first wedding board lingo!!!) is sitting on the couch & he asked me what I was doing back on the computer & I said 'they want to know about the proposal' so he says 'who wants to know?' & I said 'MY NEW FRIENDS!!!!! '(needless to say he's cracking up!!!)
