Although yesterday I almost threw up when I realized the price my guest would have to pay at the Holiday Inn Express for one night...159.00
I was able to find a rate of $109.00 at the Marriot!!!
Hooray..what a blessing...I love being able to make a happy post!!!

THe only hotels remotely close to my venue are both $169-$209 a night- so we have to eat it!

same here but dont worry your guests are coming to nyc its expected. what i am doing is going to give them another option that is cheaper and not so nice and let them know they are then resposible for thier own transportation to and from the rh , which is only a 10 dollar cab ride

I understand the frustration..this hotel is still a little farther out than i wanted but at last it lost the sticker shock..
