well i just took a quick ride to local bridal shop just to look with my mom. She found two dresses she really likes AND one was only $160 !!! the cheaper one really does flatter her & everybody in the shop loved it. i was worried that she would be difficult but just the opposite.. Now only if MOH/sister would find a dress. Then my mom could pick out the color.
btw. the name of the place is Jessica's Bridal on Jericho Tpke in New Hyde Park only few blocks from the NHP Inn. They have a decent selection & the prices are reasonable. The cap on alterations is $90
iam so excited .. i really thought i would have a hard time with mom... i told my sister so hopefully she will get the hint that she is holding everybody up !

I went there w/my mom and she also found a dress she likes but she didn't get to try it on yet. They were close to closing. They're very nice there. Good to know the alterations are capped at $90.
