Is this common during pregnancy? i just noticed a yellowish discharge. Is yellow a yeast infection? I have had them before and its never been yellow! I called the Dr. and they said it could be some sort of an infection brewing and wanted me to come in next monday but i made them make it for this wed. they didnt make it sound urgent.

I've heard that yeast infections can be common during pregnancy. But I also heard that its common to have an increase in discharge during pregnancy as well. Do you have other symptoms like itching/swelling? If not then I wouldn't panic. In my experience (I used to get yeast infections frequently) there was ALWAYS a very incessant kind of itching with the infection. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, that wonderful (god awful smelling) yellow discharge is quite normal. I would suggest a pantyliner or something (although at this point, I'm wearing depends )

I have heard that they are common due to hormonal changes - if it's at all uncomfortable that's what it probably is....check with your dr to be sure though

thanks guys. really thats normal? I am going wed. anyway just to make sure. there is no swelling or itching so thats what made me think it wasnt a yeast infection. it only happened once and i think i sort of panicked!guess i ll find out tomorrow.
