Yeay!
So as some of you may remember, I recently found out that the priest at my church is not going to be able to do our ceremony because he is leaving to finish his dissertation. I also found out yesterday that the other priest my SIL recommended is also leaving (but that's doesn't matter anyhow - I just find it funny that our so-called 'backup' was also not gonna work out LOL).
Well, in the very beginning FH had mentioned wanting the priest from his old school to marry us (Ft. Marano). For whatever reason, later on FH said forget it we'll just use your priest at your church. So, at our GM's wedding a few weeks ago, Ft. Marano actually did the ceremony and I was finally able to meet the famous Ft. Marano. He was a very sweet man and I thought he did such a nice ceremony and blessing at the reception and from what I hear from FH, he's just an awesome guy! So I finally said to FH, we should see if Ft. Marano will do our wedding ceremony because in all honesty, it would be nicer having someone that meant something to either one of us do the ceremony than some random priest at my church. FH agreed, so sometime with in the next month we are going to schedule a day to meet with Ft. Marano and hopefully we will have our officiant!
