Yes, another 'help with RH' post...

Yes, another 'help with RH' post...

So, I know that choosing a hall is a very personal decision. That being said, I'd love feedback and opinions on the following places. Ive chosen them after either seeing them online or from attending weddings in the (sometimes distant) past. I live out east, as do the majority of my guests, so that factors in as well. Id rather not do Montauk, though Gurneys and MYC are beautiful.
Id like to do a Saturday in June 2010.

Atlantica
Inn at East Wind
Bourne Mansion
Land's End

Thoughts? What say you all??

I've never been to any of them, but FSIL was a BM in a wedding last night at Atlantica and had amazing things to say!

I've been to a wedding at Land's End-- Phenomenal. This is why I chose Flowerfield (same caterers).
My Nursing Formal was at East Wind-- Very nice, very big, a little wedding factory for me.
I went to look at Atlantica-- Probably the nicest ball room ever. (If you like that beachy look)... But by far the most expensive. They will 'work with your budget' but that just means you get way less food and choices. I'd say a Sat night in June will prob set you back $200+ pp if you go for the all out menu.
Bourne Mansion-- Never been there!

Atlantica - fh and i looked here, here nice but not a lot for your money.

Bourne Mansion - we also looked here, we really liked it but had a bas experience with the BM so we took it off of our list.

I have never been to Land's End or Inn at East Wind but I hear they are both very nice.

East Wind is huge and beautiful.. but they have a lot of stuff going on at once- not sure if you are into that

haven't been to the others

I am from WAY out east on the North Fork... we are having it at Giorgio's. There is also Vineyard Caterers and Atlantis Marine World, The Watermill, and the wineries out there.

I loved East Wind! It was our 2nd choice only because it was a little far for us. Depending on the size of your wedding you can get the cottage which is completely segregated from the 'wedding factory' feel the other girls mentioned. They have their own grounds for pics and other features. I thought the price was reasonable too. They were willing to throw in extras too. They book fast and the dates were limited when we went.

The only one I have ever been to is East Wind. I didn't go for a wedding, but we checked it out. We LOVED the room in the separate cottage; however, we fell in love with another place.

I thought it was very picturesque and gorgeous.

I've heard that East Wind is like a wedding factory... if you're looking for a one wedding at a time kind of place I would stay away from there...
