All I hear these past few weeks is. 'So, you're getting married soon, are you excited?!?' ....pause for reaction. Yes of course I'm excited but I don't have the energy to reenact my excitement every single time I'm asked!!!

OMG....I know EXACTLY how you feel!...Everywhere I go people are asking me that, and I tell them that I am excited but it def gets a little too much...It's ok though..It's our time now and we should probably enjoy the support and enthusiasm that we're getting because it's gonna go so quick and be over before we know it..I can definitely relate though

lol this is like when on the rare occasion that I tell people I don't feel well the automatic next question is... 'are you pregnant?' Yes, every time I get sick since I'm a female I'm automatically pregnant

I also get, 'How does it feel?' So annoying. I work in a law firm with over 250 people. So every day, someone sees me for the first time and asks, 'How does it feel to be an old married lady?' or 'How's married life?' I think I will start lying and tell people he beats me so they stop asking....

I try to be polite and make the wide-eyed big grin...then take a deep breath. Then give one of the following answers:
'Yeah! cant wait for the honeymoon!'
or 'Yeah, X days to go!' or just
'Yeah!'
It gets old when I'm asked at work everyday tho..There's only like 20ppl in the office.

I asked my brother this a few times....come to find out they were having a hard time getting pregnant! I felt so bad but the baby is finally on her way! 2/24/11

I think it's sweet when people ask me once, but I get a little annoyed when it's the same person asking me over and over and over....
I appreciate that they're just trying to be nice and to make conversation, but do they think my answers really gonna change?

This is so funny! I was thinking about this as well.
After I got engaged, literally from the minute I posted it on FB, people were asking me 'have you set a date yet?' It's one of those cliche wedding things to ask I think, along with 'are you excited?!'

I think its one of those things that they have nothing else to say and they think that your a completely different person now. NO i just have a new last name and a sparkly diamond on my finger.
