Yesterday..

I was in DH;'s old Bedroom and was like 'Hon, this wallpaper should come down'. I put my fingernail in between the seams and ooops..LOL ended doing the whole bedroom in like 10 minutes.
Now, my question is..What is the best way to remove the glue and smooth the wall out before we spackle and paint?
TIA
We are hoping to get that room all finished while we stay there next week. My inlaws are going to FL for vacation and I would love to accomplish another room!

Re: Yesterday..

DIF is the best way to remove wallpaper glue. You can get it at Home Depot. It works best if you mix it with HOT water and apply it with a soaked paint roller. You can also get 'tigers' that put tiny holes in the glue to help the DIF absorb better. They are right next to the DIF.

Have fun!

ETA: after you put the DIF onto the walls, you wait 10-15 min and then apply again. Then right away begin to use a scraper to lift off the glue. Most cases you can just peel it right off!
