And my dress still doesnt fit! The first time it was way too big, the second time they made it way too tight and too short! Yesterday I went and while they made it longer - they also made it tighter instead of looser!!!! This time it couldnt even close!
When the seamstress came in the room she said to me, 'Oh no! What happened to you?' As if I gained weight! I actually lost a few pounds! I asked to see a manager who promised it will be done but kept saying, 'Give credit where credit is due - its very hard to do a seamless dress. ' And, 'The real problem is that you had them put cups in the dress!' Oh so its my fault?
Im going back on Tuesday and the dress better be done!

I'd be furious. They are seamstresses and should be able to do everything ESPECIALLY cups in a dress! Thats a completely normal request!

So ridiculous! Having cups put in has nothing to do with it, not to mention I would think a bride adding cups to her wedding dress is pretty standard!

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. She asked my BM who was with me to step out of the changing room to give us space. My BM said that she was listening to what they were saying to me and she felt like tearing open the curtain and flipping out on the woman!

Good Luck!! I went for my second fitting yesterday, and the top was like falling down. I asked if they could make it a little tighter....I could literally pull it up like a inch.
The guy tells me, oh thats the cut of the dress! Umm I don't think the cut of the dress is supposed to be falling off me, and flasing everyone when I pull it up!!
I told them I wanted it tighter, but now I'm scared when I go back on Monday, it will be too tight!

You should FM Illana, I know she was having problems there but as soon as the manager got involved everything was good. I can't really suggest anything since my alterations came out fine. I'm sure it will work out, I know its frustrating. Hang in there!
How did the veil look? Does it match good?

seriously?! how does adding cups into a dress make the zipper not zip?! sounds like she messed up. and EVEN if adding cups to a dress causes a problem for her, she's a professional... she should know how to deal with it!

My best friend and MOH is getting married tomorrow and has the same dress as you!!! She had the same EXACT issues with the seamstress and her dress. I don't know where you got yours, but her seamstress took it in, took it again, made it short, than let it out...than took it back in. I can't. She went for at least 5 fittings and didn't get her dress until 3 days before her wedding.
But it is the most beautiful gown I have ever seen and I think the stress of all the fitting was all worth it now, BUT, the seamstress asked her whats wrong, why is she losing weight? Than she asked if she had been gaining?....She was the same weight all along. But after the 5th time, the dress is perfect and looks absolutely amazing. Hopefully after tomorrow's wedding, Ill be able to post some pictures
