Yesterday was productive

Yesterday we got our marriage license at Brookhaven Town Hall. It was way too easy, only took 15 minutes!
We picked up FMIL's dress for her from Macy's.
I got my slippers for the reception.
I made an appt to meet with a limo company Tues.
I found the last of my bridesmaid's gifts and a gift for the parents.
We met with the hall to finalize menu, etc. I found out that putting mints on the table is considered 'outside food' which is not allowed. Who knew?!? At least I didn't buy them yet.
I also found out that they do allow white silk rose petals to be thrown which I thought were not allowed...that's a good tradeoff!!
Sorry that I am babbling, I am just excited because things are getting done.
