Yesterday was shoes... today HELP me find a VEIL!

So.... I'll post pictures of my dress for the day but PLEASE don't quote!!!!!!!

Originally I was going to have a veil (fingertip length) with lace on the bottom (from the elbow down) with a few scattered pieces on it.
After much going back and forth I am FINALLY getting a swatch of the lace on my dress. BUT I probably won't get it until mid May b/c it's coming from Spain and they are slow there.

The women at the bridal salon and my mom thinks that my dress has enough going on that it doesn't call for a lace veil.

So my question, what veil should I wear? I'm still not decided on a lace veil. My dress has no embroidery so I dunno.

Help!!!

OH, I should add that I don't want a mantilla and I can't get the exact lace on my dress. It costs $40 a piece and the lace alone would run me $200!!

So IF I do a lace veil i'd match it up as good as I can but it won't be exact.

The dress is so pretty that an elaborate veil might take away from it. I actually like the way the simple long thin veils look. How are you wearing your hair?

Some pics.

I'm probably wearing my hair half up half down.

lol

I can't wear the veil in the pic..

a) it's cathedral. They don't make it in fingertip. I do not want a cathedral veil
b) If I wanted a fingertip veil made from the designer it would cost me MINIMUM $700

I've gone to Barrons but my mom is concerned that the laces won't match exactly.

i don't think it really matters if the lace doesn't match exactly.... no one is going to notice! go to a fabric store or garment place (there are a billion and a half in the city) and find the lace that matches the closest and then have it put on a fingertip veil!

the veil in the picture looks great...If you took a swatch of the lace to Barron's she may be able to replicate it for you and make it a fingertip veil.

That's what I thought! But now my mom and someone at the store is saying that my dress has so much detail that I shouldn't have lace on it.
PLUS, I won't be getting the lace swatch until mid May. Wouldn't that be cutting it close?
