Yet another disappointment

OK..so the 'family friend' that wa a professional photgrapher no longer does it!!! So now I have to find a photographer!!! I'm definitely calling Imagine, Patken, and maybe Duet.....any other suggestions? I definitely want photojournalism in there and more of it than traditional...but not too price as my wonderful future in-laws are footing the bill. Does anyone know of postings with Patken or Duet pics (I've seen Lulu's Imagine photos...I cried they were so awesome!!)

As you know Shana, I really stressed about this vendor and was so relieved when we found Duet. So you know I suggest at least making an appointment and meeting with them. I'll FM you my package.

Also, I suggest meeting with Patken, we didn't end up booking them, but they were really fun to meet with. I forgot the name of the guy, I think Kevin, but he was a really sincere and nice guy.

we met with kevin at patken too!
i think he was one of the videographers, we have vinny for our day(and he did our e-shots which i posted)... we got our package for under $3k with our small album and 2 parents albums

I'm interested only in a photographer for the wedding. Can you give me an estimate of what is charged for just photography by Duet and Patken? I've read a lot of recs about them, but that makes me fear that they're expensive.
