Can anyone recommend a good restaurant with a nice private room for about 20-25 people? We want to have a party for my Mom's birthday, preferably a place that decorates nice for the holidays, it will be right after Christmas.
We were thinking of Milleridge Inn but we are hoping to keep it closer to home so everyone could come back to our house for cake & festivities afterward.
It doesnt just have to be Massapequa, any area in the vicinity would be helpful...Seaford, Wantagh etc. Thanks!!

What about Hemmingway's in Wantagh (on Wantagh Ave) or Le Nook in Wantagh (on Sunrise Hwy)? Both have really good food....I'm not sure about a private room @ Hemmingway's, but Le Nook has a semi-private room that's tucked to one side of the restaurant.

ETA: There's also Peppercorn's not far from you! I think it's on Hickville Rd? Not sure...

Butera's in Massapequa has great food but I don't know about the room.

Hemmingway's has a semiprivate room in the back and up the stairs a little.
We went to a christening there earlier this year and the food was great

I think Sidekicks has a private room - on Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park. I like their food...
Sergio's Italian has a private room, but I don't know how many you need to get it.
Hemmingway's is always good. It may be a little far - not sure, but my family does a lot of private room events at LaGrange Inn on Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Villa MAria's on Broadway in MAssapequa has a seperate room! The food there is WONDERFUL!!!!

Sergios has a private room and good italian food. Veranda II which is on Park in Massapequa is very good too. We had my grandma's 80th birthday there.
We went to a christaining at Hemingways and it was awesome...its not really enclosed though just on a different level.
The wantaugh inn has a room upstairs that I went to a few rehersal dinners at.

Wantagh Inn is a good one - that's right across from the Wantagh train Station.
I've been to many parties at Sidekicks on Park Blvd in Mass. Park - they have always been great. Staff is good, helpful and courteous, and the food is always really good.
I'm not a big fan of Hemmingways. I'm not all that impressed with their food and I think it's a little loud.
