Yet another photographer question..silverfox

If you just get one photographer will they do *only* classic portrait-type work or might they accidentally get some candids in there? I am just going by their website which says one photographer covers bride and groom, families, etc. and 2nd does photojournalistic, natural style shots....thanks!

I was under the understanding not hiring a second photographer means the main photographer does it all. But, I would double-ck.

Each of their photographers is different. When you go their John will ask you to look at albums and pick out your favorite. Say you like pictures where you pose alot, he has a photographer for that. Or say you want somewhere in between posing and photojournalist, he has one for that. So you need to go there and look throught the albums and decide what you like and he'll match it up.

To answer your question, no you don't HAVE to get a photojournalist. He has regular photographers that might suit your needs.

I have to say, the photojouralist shots are amazing.

thanks..I was worried that if I got one it would only be posed shots and portraits..I will have to schedule an appointment!

the guy i am using lends himself to more photojournalistic shots.

you'll be surprised when you go and visit because we sat down and picked two books we liked and it was both shot by MY photographer.

One photographer can do it all- the second one is just a dedicated photojournalist--it's the opinion of many of the professionals I spoke with that it's not neccessary and missleading. I still think that a second photographer is nice to have but I'm only going with one- my guy's assistant will take a few shots too-which is fine with me. Duet has the best prices for 2 photographers I have seen yet- did you look at them?
