Yet another RSVP vent...

I am pretty sure the used napkin RSVP takes the cake (still forgot to take a picture).. but I just have to VEEEENT. I don't get it. Why can't you take the 2 seconds to send in the ALREADY stamped RSVP. Just send it in.. JUST DO IT.

Also, we decided to invite everyone with a guest figuring that the people who don't have a significant other would come alone. Its not like they don't know half of the people at the party!! Well they are all RSVP'ing with a guest and saying 'oh ill find someone by then'..UGH. My dad I'm sure doesnt want to pay for your one night stand...cmon now. But thats our fault for inviting everyone with a guest.

One of my BM's decided she is goign to break up with her fiance and texted me that she is still going to bring a date. First of all..really? Second of all she lives in florida.. a plane ticket for her and her fiance should already be booked, how is she going to change that...?? and Third, I 'know' she is coming cause she is a BM.. but she never sent back the freaking RSVP!!!!!!!!

One of FH's friends (of course who did not rsvp) emailed me yesterday asking for the wedding date. SO I replied 'did you not get an invite'.. HE did he just 'doesnt know where it is'

13 days to go and im still missing 100 RSVP's...

Ugh PEOPLE!!!

What is your BM thinking? Bad enough this 'date' will probably not know a soul there.... he's gonna be left alone for a large part of the day. BM's are super busy with prep and pics and just being in the wedding! It's just plain selfish of her to drag this guy from Florida just so she can have someone to dance with during a slow song, let alone that now your fam has to pay for it!

Aw...I went through this same thing. And its usually the 'important' people who let you down. As soon as you get your invite you should fill out the rsvp and send it out. That way you wouldnt lose or forget it. I agree....it takes 2 seconds.

OMG that's so infuriating. I mean your FH friend and your BM are a little ridiculous. If it's any consolation, we all have idiots like that. It's so annoyoing!! Do people just not get it? I don't mind if single people bring a date. What I mind is people just not responding. I think I could forgive it if they were young, but if you're above 25 there's no excuse. You should know better by now! So here are some hugs!!! I just sent out my invitations last Friday so I'm curious to see what issues I have to deal with, lol.

Welcome to my world, The RSVP date was 8/4, still missing about 60 people. I get the famous ' you know Im coming' and how the h*ll would I know that since you didnt send back the RSVP

You dont just take any old person to a wedding right? I dunno maybe Im just old fashioned...

Yeah I think the same thing.. I figured you just dont take anyone. Also these people that say 'ill find someone:' im nervous they wont and wont bother telling us so we will pay for a bunch of empty seats. SO annoyed.

my rsvp date is aug 15th and all I have is a little over half!! Everyone keeps saying ohhh you know im coming

ohhh mannn, i know what you're talking about.
our e-party rsvp deadline was saturday and i still have people calling/txting me with ridiculous questions. 'when is it?' WHEN IS IT?!?!? really?!?!?
but the last few days leading up to the deadline, i'm sure you'll see the rsvp cards coming in by the dozen (hopefully........)
