Yet ANOTHER Spin-Off of 'First Time' Poll .. Your 'First Time' w/FH/DH or FW/DW

2 parts:

How long after you met your FH/DH or FW/DW did you 'consummate' your relationship?

Was it a shorter/longer amount of time than with previous partners?

I'll go first -- just under one month after we met, we did the deed. It was the PERFECT experience and the perfect timeframe for us

It was, however, a much shorter timeframe than with any other ex's from my past. I was usually the type that would make 'em wait a lot longer

Im with you on that ..I usually waited longer...but dh was so damn cute and I thought he was just going to be a fling..I didnt know I was going to marry him..yikes..I waited less than a month too!!

Hmmmmm...

Well we didn't go out on our first date until a month AFTER we met. We did a lot of getting to know one another on the phone..
We did the deed on our 3rd date!

Yes it was quicker than the ex's

I just confessed this on another thread. I didn't wait at all because I expected him to be a one-night stand. But he ended up calling, and I liked him, so here we are now.

I had waited like a month and a half with my first relationship. That turned into an almost 2-year relationship.

It's so funny. I'm just remembering how I was to him. He was at my parents' house in the morning, and I basically woke him up and said leave and rushed him out.

With DH..it was a week, maybe 2 into our relationship...

DEFINITELY quicker than with anyone else...but there was just 'something' about him

Ummm... We waited nine days. Seems really quick, but we did hang out almost every day in that timeframe...

For me it was really long.... 9 months! But I was only 16 and he was 17. It was the first time for the both of us. We tried to do it a few other times before but always got interrupted by something/someone.

I don't know, if it's not your first time, I don't see the big deal in doing it when only knowing the person a short time.

I actually waited longer with FH than anyone else. It was like 6 weeks. I've had sex on the first date before, but not with FH. I guess when you know its right, you want to take it slow.

I think it was our third date, knew each other ( talking) about 1 1/2 months...it was about 'average' time wise then others....

We knew each other like 3 or 4 years before we started dating. Then I think it was on the 3rd or 4th date. It was not... unmmmm... well .. let's just say it got MUCH better after that first time.

FH is my only one! And I was his. B/c of that. We waited almost 2 years! We both wanted to be sure, and wanted it to be something special..and it was!

2 weeks into the relationship. Would have been sooner if he wasn't in Boston for a week and a hald before that And I don't recall the time I waited with other guys. Assuming I waited. Which I probably didn't

It was about three weeks into the relationship...maybe our fifth date. And I knew it was going to be that nite. He invited me over for dinner, etc.
I never had a set plan for waiting. I have done the deed on the first date, and I dated a guy for three months and broke up with him w/out ever doing the deed. When it felt right I went with it.
It was very, very good!!!
