Ugh my mother is becoming the Bridezilla!!!!! Everything I say is wrong and blah blah blah shes drivin me nuts... i know shes paying for most of this, but what the hell... UGHHHH IM SO FRUSTRATED!!!!

I hear ya girl!!! My mom has not liked one idea that has come out of my mouth since I started discussing the planning with her!!!!!!!! She has this dress shes been dying to wear... (bought it like 3 yrs ago from jcpenny for a really good price)... I would have let her wear to the wedding, but I decided to do a daytime wedding instead... This thing has more sparkles than I know what to do with and will just not go with an afternoon wedding (in my mind)... She is soo upset, its rediculous... I told her, you will stand out more than me and I'm just not having it ...
Shes fought with me on the date and limos, and something else.... It is just crazy and freakin annoying as hell... Yes, you are paying for it, but you had your wedding... I want something different....
BUT she did like the dress that i picked out (preliminary at this stage of course), but her jaw dropped at hearing it was like $1100... Shes thinking about way baxck when when she got hers for $300 and that she designed herself!

yeah...my mother and i are really close.... especially because we live 1500 miles away from each other so we have to stay close ya know?
shes drivin me nuts on the reception hall (she wants a BUFFET style.... IS SHE KIDDING ME? UGH)
then she said she didnt want an open bar... is she serious? now, i'm not really a drinker... at all... but i swear to god if i want a midori sour at my wedding, i will have one!!!!!
ugh the wedding isnt for another 640 days and already shes driving me up a wall.

Seems like ours are on opposite ends of the spectrum... My mom is the one expecting em to spend more $$ and I'm the one thats like are you nuts.. I'm gonna save and cut corners where ever I can Ex: Not getting limos b/c everything is at one place so what the hell is a limo needed for

As long as the food is great and the dj/band is amazing = why people have a great time... then I could give a rats *** about all the other stupid things that people spend $$ on ...
Anything that people AREN'T going to remember, I am going cheap on & really could care less if people 'talk' Hehehe I'm putting my foot down on that right now

I feel your pain. My mom is terrible and pretty much wants nothing to do with the wedding.
Where in Orlando are you getting married? We have been looking into Disney.

my mom hasn't been bad so far... the only thing is she's starting to ask me about little details and stuff and saying oh you should have this and you should get that, etc.. but i'm just like mom i don't even have a reception hall yet! i'll worry about the little stuff when the time comes.
