Yey!! Bought my dresses!

I couldn't get the pics up but they're in my album. the second dress with champagne is going to be a short dress with a different sash.

So exciting!!

Thanks, I put the pics of the front of the ruffled one too. It's very simple in front. I haven't altered either of them yet either. I think they'll fit great once they're fitted.

LOLL!!! I didn't know which one to post it on since i've always posted here. I'mprobably changing after the cake. I'm not going crazy about it though. if i'm having a great time i won't even bother, but if i want to surprise everyone i'll def put it on for dacing. Fh is dying to know why i need two dresses, curiosity is killing him. i couldn't keep it from him, we love shopping too much LOL!!

Yes, i tried them with about 7 different mantillas andi think i'm going to get a chantilly white fingertip mantilla, single layer. my mom & grandma luved the double but i luv the back of the dress so i don't want to cover it all up.

Thanks! The chantilly will match perfectly with your dress. I'm doing an ivory cathedral length alencon, the lace on the bodice of my dress is alencon..single layer also. It matches perfect and I love it, but now I'm thinking I want a shorter one too because at first I wanted to be veil-less at the reception, but now i'm thinking twice.

I can't wait to see picture of yours all together with the veil, you're going to look gorgeous!

Are you planning on wearing it at the reception at all? if you're not I wouldn't bother getting a smaller one because you won't wear it long enough to probably justify the $$$$ for both -- unless you're planning on taking pics with it. I won't be using it at the reception.

No, I'm going to take it off right after the ceremony. I'm just second-guessing myself that's all, thinking I might want one during the reception, but in then end I know I'll want it off my head. The cathedral cost way more than I wanted to spend anyway so I can't another one.

Yeah, I think it's not necessary. I would spend the $$ on something else you'd like to have since you already have one. It'll look gorgeous and it's a short time that you get to wear it so i'd enjoy it.
