I've been in a massive wedding rut. Haven't done a blasted thing since like October
Tonight we got FH's ring - it's not going to be ready until Tuesday though. They're engraving it for free (I didn't know they do this!) the jeweler also steamed my ring while we waited, it came out so shimmery (hadn't been cleaned since August).
I'm in a panic girls. My MOH doesn't want to go for dresses until summer - we're all in bridal boot camp mode trying to slim down... I was told I can't get flowers until we get the dresses.
Does anyone else feel like they're behind?

Re: Yey, I Finally Did Something!
You can still start looking at gowns even if she wants to get in better shape. The gown can always be taken in!! I suggest start your search sooner rather than later.

Here's another problem though - we're going with David's Bridal (I know, cheap and icky to everyone else, but it's affordable and they have some cute stuff). Major problem with David's is that they don't stock their styles for like more than a few months. We had all agreed on something in September that was gone by late November!! Now we need to start again, so I feel like not bothering until June- that's still like 5 months from the wedding, too late???

If you are going with David's Bridal I really think you are fine!!! They get the gowns in SO fast there!!! The thing is sometimes its hard to find something you really love, so maybe u should browse around every few weeks to check for new styles and if there is something you love, jump on it! Otherwise from there, waiting till June is more than fine in my opinion!!
Also, I don't think David's is cheap and icky! They have some great deals on beautiful gowns!!!

Re: Yey, I Finally Did Something!
It's my picky, fellow-chubby BMs that are giving me a hard time about the dresses. I gave up sending them dresses I liked and am leaving the style up to them now - as long as it's 'truffle' or some shade of chocolate brown, I don't give a cr*p. Ya know? I always feel shame using DB because most of the girls on this site have designer dresses and I'm older and don't want to spend a lot of money on items nobody will use again. I'm even up for borrowing a purse, DOJ, a veil etc. Someone should start a site where you can lend things out or something. Ha ha!
