ok so my issue is I love this one photgrapher to pieces and we were going to book with him this week, he even told someone that was interested that the date was booked as a favor to us. Now I just found out another photographer I thought was booked is not and he is giving us two hours more coverage and engagement shoot for 100 dollars more than old photographer...WHAT DO I DO

You dont want to pass up a better deal... and if its for a vendor that you like and wanted...

yeah I know, I just feel so bad, lol....maybe the old one will match what this one is offering but then he may be upset that I waited so long...ugh!

I'd say stick with the photographer whose work you like best. Maybe you can even renegotiate to get the same number of hours and engagement shoot.

See if they will match, I am sure they would do that over losing you.

if you like the current photographer more, talk to him and tell him that you were offered a better deal ... maybe he will negotiate with you ... if not, then I suppose it depends how much you like both photographers ... if they're about equally talented, use the second one.

regardless, i'm sure they'll do a wonderful job :)

I agree. If you really hit it off with the 1st photographer then thats something you want to consider as well. Just go with whomever you feel the most comfortable with.

Agreed. They understand its a business. If you like him more, he may be even more willing to negotiate since he already turned away business.

I would definitely see if he will negotiate the price. Its so much better to go with who you feel comfortable with not just someone giving you a better deal.

Which one do you like better? Pictures are really the only thing you get to keep from that day. So you have to go with the one you feel will capture the day the best

if you really LOVED the first one ask him to meet the price....

i'd stick to the photographer that you feel more comfortable with. See if they price match. The photographer is the one vendor that you are going to be seeing all day long. Be sure you're ok with this person and that they don't annoy you in any way.
