You and your FH..

I thought it be cute to share: Where or how did you meet your FH and how long have you been together?

I met mine in college in 2004. We were in a class together and were assigned to do a group project. FH was in my group and we've been together ever since.

We met at work in October of 2006. My boss was late on my first day there, so the building security guard let me into the office and FH was the first person to see me standing there (feeling awkward) so he came over and introduced himself. We barely spoke for my first 5 months there, but we had a little too much to drink at a happy hour and we made out (probably not a good idea when you're still new at your job ) and we started dating right after that (in March 2007).

My FH and I met at a bar. I was there with a girlfriend and he was there with a bunch of guys. I ran into one of his friends (that I knew) and he introduced us to everyone. I remember thinking 'wow, the guy in the hat is CUTE' apparently he thought the same thing b/c by the end of the night we were talking and dancing and have been together ever since

We've been together for 4 years.

I actually met mine in 1999 on both our senior trip in the bahamas, we hung out for 3 months and lost touch when he went away to college, seven years later met again on myspace with mutual friends and have been together almost 4 yrs......that is fate!!!!

We were set up on a blind date (by our mothers ) and met on December 18, 1999. We dated for about a month and became 'official' in January 2000.

We met while on Birthright (for those who don't know what that is .. basically a free trip to israel for jewish kids 18-25) in 2006.

We have been together for a little over 4 years.

We met at bowling 3 years before we started dating, barely spoke to each other. Bowling friends tried to get us together but it just felt like High School, everyone watching. So for 3 yrs I had a crush on him, but too shy to say anything to him. So my last year of bowling I gave him my phone number on a piece of napkin. He waited 3 days before calling. Been together going on 5 yrs in June. Engaged for 6 months.

we were 'matched' the end of june...

had our first 'open communication' around July 3 (and that's our wedding date now!

first date was July 19th......

on our wedding day this july 3rd, we will have been together just shy of 2 years :)

We met through my ex-boyfriend (weird I know but we're still friends) My Fh and ex used to work together and FH saw my picture on my ex's facebook and asked him to set us up. So he did and that was a little over 2 years ago!

We met at work...I started working in Feb 05 never even noticed DH(although he says he always had an eye on me but I was the #$%^& n he was too shy to talk to me) until one night a bunch of co workers went out for drinks in July 05 and we hit it off ever since & are going to be toegther 5 years this july.... and married 24 days!!

we met in college in 2003 - i was a freshman, him a sophomore. he was running for student association president, so i knew who he was because his face was all over campus. we were introduced through a mutual friend and i was smitten instantly.

after a few months, an old long term flame tried to get back together with me and i gave him a shot, so my now-fiance and i split....

but five years later, we became reacquainted, we were both single and as soon as we were reunited, we fell in love immediately. we moved in together after 9 months (when you know, you know!), got engaged shortly after our year anniversary, and we will be married just shy of our two and a half year dating anniversary.

We met the second half of senior year HS, but didn't start dating until 5 years later (although we saw each other a few times in between then. We always 'clicked' but before it was never the right time (we were dating other people, I went away to college, etc). We've been together 4.5 yrs.
