You are not going to believe this...

So the in laws were on vacation during my birthday, and when I got back from the funeral yesterday there was a little package in the mail for me.

She gave me a gift card and a really cute apron, which was nice since I have been looking for a cute one.....and then I read the note.

'A little birdie told me what a great wife you've been, so I thought every good wife needs a cute apron! (Try wearing it with nothing underneath one day. I bet your husband would love to come home to that!)'

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!

Then I called her to thank her and she repeated this on the phone. How inappropriate! I am so worried that at 8 weeks in, she is already trying to get involved in our sex life. What else is she going to do?

Am I wrong? Tis is just creeepy and inappropriate to me.

well, then yes, she meant this to be an inappropriate gift. wowwwwww

My mom bought me a apron last St. Patty's that said 'Feeling Lucky'...and after I received it and called her to thank her, she told me to do the same thing. And then I put her on speaker phone so FH could hear her talking about doing it. He thought it was hillarious. But thats just the relationship I have with my mom...shes very liberal!

Needless to say, if you choose to do it...it works out well...just sayin

My mom's mouth just dropped. She was like ' that woman is awful! You can't go anywhere with her and expect her to just act normal!'.

She also made a big deal to my mother my shower a few drinks in that we don't know if we will have kids. My mom was like, it's their life and they need to do what they want. MIL then started whining more to convince my mom to pressure us to have kids right away.
