You can't make this stuff up...

So FIL's were at my parents house and we were all sitting around talking about the ceremony with our officiant (my dad's friend). We mentioned how FH is going to break the glass (FH is Catholic and I'm Jewish). Well, FFIL said about 4 times 'Franky's going to cut his foot on the glass'. We had to keep telling him that he's not going to cut his foot. FFIL insisted that he's going to cut his foot and hurt himself and it might be a bad idea. Who's cut their foot wearing tux shoes on the glass?!?!

I actually REALLY like FFIL but sometimes he's just a little and at the same time!

actually, sometimes if you use a regular drinking glass, you could cut yourself (even through a shoe) ... that's why you're supposd to use the special breaking glass.

either way, i've never heard of anyone cutting themselves.

That would have to be some pretty cheap shoes or incredible glass to cut his foot. People walk over glass every day and never cut them selves. You don't even know what you step on in these streets lol

We were talking about the special glass and my mom is going to pick it up. FFIL gets so animated sometimes when he thinks he's right! I just can't HAHA!
