I fell in love with a 2006 st. patrick (pronovias) dress online. Pronovias dresses are notoriously difficult to track down, and if you're looking for a specific style, you are likely to be out of luck..... Many styles have no samples to try on in the US at all!
At any rate, I looked at St. Patrick dresses in brooklyn, liked the quality and styling overall. I decided to take a major risk.... I ordered my dress (Desvan) w/o seeing it or trying it on.... RK bridal said they could order it for me, but once ordered, there's no going back..... (I also got it at a REMARKABLE discount)
I picked it up today...... The wedding gods were on my side, it is remarkably flattering, and EXACTLY what I wanted!
Moral of the story: sometimes risks pay off!

congrats!!!! i fell in luv w/ a pronovias dress too but it was a couple grand and we just couldn't plunk down that much for it... it's so awesome that ur able to get one at a discount!!!!
