I see so many of you who have so much done already. I only have my hall booked. In our defense, FH and I have had a few crazy months- we are moving, I had a major project to do with work and he just had surgery on Wed. I have a appt with a photograher in a few weeks and I am going to dive in head first on October, but am I really off track?

you're fine don't stress!! we're all just a bunch of over active planning brides!!! most of us probably booked things too soon but it's all up to how you want to do it i would say in the fall start looking/booking don't stress!

Nope not to worrry. Your wedding in in October right?? You still have two months before the 1 year mark. That's what I did. Booked every thing within the yr mark. And the only reason I did that, is because I didnt want all the great vendors to be booked up.
Just make sure, you book the
Photographer Videographer DJ Church
soon. Many of these vendors, once they're good book quick. Everything else can come later.

My future sister in law had 7 months to plan her wedding and she is still able to get all the vendors she wants- I think you have plenty of time and will be fine!!

Ya keep in mind a lot of us are obsessed with weddings and could have waited but just got so excited and wanted to plan right away! Hehe well at least thats how i am!!

No, I don't think you are. You still have about 14 months which is plenty of time, however, make sure that the next things you do do are the major vendors, church, limo, phot, florist, dj

No worries - I was only engaged one year and got every single vendor I wanted. You're not even at your year mark - you're okay, no worries!!!!

You're not even at the one year mark yet, so you're fine. We're getting married less than one year from the time we got engaged, and we've book all the major vendors we've wanted so far without any issues. If you have your heart set on a specific reception hall, then you might want to start looking into that soon though, since people do book early.

In 3 months, we finished almost everything, but only b/c it was easier for us to do that. You have over a year, so you have plenty of time.

I was going to say the same exact thing...You are perfectly fine. The RH is the most important because the dates book up quickly which you've already taken care of. As Rahana said, certain vendors should be booked earlier if you have a particular one in mind...If you're flexible on which DJ or photographer or church you use then you don't have anything to rush on....However, if there are specific places you do want to use I would not say you are behind but you should start booking/looking now so you don't get closed out.
Either way, don't panic...You'll be just fine!!! Good luck!
