I've got some fertility issues and spoke with my doctor about starting to try AFTER getting married.
Well, I ran out of pills and needed at least 2 months refill. (I want my skin to stay as it is for the wedding.) She said nah, I'll give you one sample. Then said.. actually give me that. No more for you! Start now. Get some prenatal vitamins and here's a referral to a fertility endocrinologist.... I left the office in shock.
Wait..... HOLD UP!!! TOO FAST!! I still have time... maybe?! I don't want break outs on the wedding!

Maybe get a dermatologist for backup?
Just watch out for mood swings....when I went off I was nuts for 2 months while my hormones levelled off.

You can try proactive if you are worried. Ive been using it for a while now and my skin has been great (knocking on wood ) It takes about a month or 2 to start working though just FYI.

Idk if right now is a good time for this. You have a lot of stress and emotions flying as your wedding is approaching. To add subtraction of your birth control could be a hormone diaster. I know I was when I came off my birth control pills. I take prenatals but for my hair and nails. It is a great vitamin!

Ahh exciting!!!. If you've had skin issues in the past, definitely go see a derma asap since it takes a little while for your skin to get used to stuff!. I usually break out WITH b/c & I'm going back on the pill soon (to alter my period so I won't have it around my wedding/HM but we're trying for a 2nd afterwards)and I just visited the dermatologist for some stuff! so far so good! :)

I was going to go off the pill as well, but I am afraid that I will break out, and I have a little more than 2 months until my wedding, so I don't really want to chance it right now. With all the stress I have been dealing with I have been breaking out still, but not as bad!! (knocking on wood)

I know. I agree with you ladies. Now is such a stressful time to be taken off the pills. There's so many changes going on, but we do want to try a cycle asap.
I've never had any mood swings going on/off the pill in the past. If there are mood swings, it'll all be wedding related. I've already had those on steady dose of pills!
My skins never been terrible. It's pretty clear. Just occasional one irritating spot here or there while off the pill which is unpredictable - and I can't stand. My skin is just so much better/looks better/feels better over all with my hormones all balanced, hard to explain. I know I don't get any spots and have better skin on the pill for sure, unless I don't take care of it. Off pill, so unpredictable.
Well, I've made an appt. with the specialist and will see how it goes from there. Worse comes to worst, I'll have to go back to the ob/gyn and speak with her.
I'm hoping that the change in hormones won't be so bad that it'll affect me physically outwardly. We'll see!
I think this is making it so much more real than picking flowers and pictures to use for our wedding headbobbles...
