You know what annoys me????

I cant stand all these places that dont open past 4:30 p.m or that are not open on weekends. (town clerk's office, the assessor's office to apply for STAR and the DMV also (except for thursday))

Um, when exactly do you think i can get there when i work 8:30-5 every weekday. My boss is gonna kill me because i, again, need to come in late or take off.

It must be nice to work for those places. They get at out 430 everyday and dont have to be until 9.

fyi... you can call the assessor's office to request a STAR application, and then mail it back to them. For Suffolk, the deadline is March 1, so hurry up! (I just did this myself, which is why I know...). I think the Nassau deadline may have passed already.
