You know what fustartes me, irks me?!

People that say..
'when you have kids you will understand!!!' This fustartes me so much, it is like they are part of a secret society. Just had to vent.......

Its ok I have a 2 year old and people still say ' When hes older you'll understand!!'

And people who used to say ' When you have kids you'll understand' Guess what?? I still dont understand!!

Sorry, I am the SAME way-lol! The girls at work who have no kids have NO clue what I mean and think I am just a horrible mother when I tell them some stories. When I talk to the moms at work, I feel sooo much better because we are 'venting' and not 'complaining' as the non-moms think.
Yes, everyone's situation is different but I think you truly don't understand until you become a mom.
I'm not trying to be mean so I hope you don't take my post to be. Thanks.

I so understand...they think you have never spent any time with children...If I could only share how many times over the past 11 years I have had my sister's kids for long periods of time!

I have heard..........'oh, think twice before having kids. They are alot of work.' Well, guess what? I want to feel the frustration!!!! Along with that fustrations is a lot of LOVE!!! It just pisses me off because it's been 1 year TTC and to make those comments.

I don't think it is right for people to say things because they don't know your situation. I worked with a girl who could not have children and people would always say 'How long have you been married? No kids yet?'. She was always good and said 'Maybe soon'. She eventually adopted but you don't know someone else's situation. Some people never want children and that is their choice.
