so this past friday, FH was in a car accident thank god everything was ok but hes pissed and im upset that hes upset..
he was waiting at a red light just hanging around a block from his hair cut place and he looks up at his rearview mirror aND before he can react *BAM* and some old '86 red car was stuck to the back of his shiny NEW '06 scion
she was calm as anything and said she hit the break but it 'didnt work' <-- yeah OK!? by the huge dent she left on FH's car looked like she never slowed down a bit.
but all in all thank god he wears his seatbelt, and he ended up just stiff and with 2 black and blue knees, and a black and blue elbow.
i just dont get it.. the old lady didnt even seem upset, i wasnt there but i was on the phone with FH when others were calling 911, and she was so calm saying she was sorry, and it wasnt her fault it was the cars...
i think she hit the gas, FH said it felt like she hit the gas, and the fact that she was still moving after her car was stuck to his.. hmm...
oh well. at least he is a-o-k *phew*

Well thank goodness FH's OK. But I completely agree that old people need to have their reflexes tested regularly or something. My grandfather just turned 80 and he voluntarily turned in his license.

Yeah I just don't get it. My parents don't move as fast as they need to and sometimes ask me to drive and they aren't 80, they are just smart enough to know they are tired.
By my house a while ago a older woman drove into the water BC she confused the gas and break...
Its just not a good idea.
