He really was not in love, and as my DH pointed out...he was a playa and he never stopped looking at it as a game!

I am SO HAPPY for Ryan...he was truly in love (or so it appeared from the TV) and I think they looked so happy together at the end.

I had tears in my eyes. I was CRUSHED at the thought of Ryan being so crushed because I REALLLY THOUGHT Charlie was being picked !

Im proud of Trista for choosing the real family man, and not the HOTTIE !

charlie was just way too 'rehearsed' all the way down to his last video message. i rarely heard him speaking from his heart. im just SO happy for ryan!

It was so evident that Charlie was trying TOO HARDDD to speak properly, throwing in 'thus far' and his other stupid wannabee 'i'm educated and this is how I always speak' lingo.

And you know what else, I HATED the way Charlie always called her 'Sweetheart' even from the beginning, that just BUGGED the hell out of me. It seems like he calls every woman that. I could just see him as a boss, having a secretary, and always calling her Sweetheart and pinching her butt

When Charlie was in the car leaving, it was so clear that she made the right decision. He was all fo himself! Ryan is so sweet!

I totally agree. I thought CHarlie was going to win all the way!! I was soooo happy that cutie Ryan won. HE's so much more sincere and genuine. And much cuter than Charlie in my opinion. Charlie was way too smooth.

I think she made the right choice too. Ryan seems like a great guy. Charlie was nice too but I agree that he was too smooth. He always did the right thing b/c to him it was about winning.

I also thought it was funny that he spoke as if he were a Shakesperean character. I mean, it's one thing to be well-spoken but who uses 'hence' and 'thus far' in everyday conversation?

I think Charlie took it really well, he was obviously more shocked that he didn't win than truly heartbroken. I think his reaction made it a little easier for her though.

Rachel I beleived you too But I have to admit that for a split second last night (after Charlie got along so well with her parents) I doubted your info. Never again!

I agree that Charlie was a little cocky and I like Ryan but I do think she will eventually break his heart. He is much to sweet and laid back for her. Charlie would beable to handle the spot light a little better. Only time will tell.

I'm glad she picked Ryan. I felt he was completely sincere and was really looking for someone to marry as was Trisha. As for Charlie, I didn't think he was a bad guy and really liked Trisha but I didn't see him proposing to her.
