When you put in your 'vacation' days for your wedding!!!!!!
Just put in for every Friday in April, the Thursday & Friday before the 30th, and then the Monday - Friday the following week!!!!

I was thinking I need to do that soon - my job gives 3 days off just for getting married? Isn't that cool? Thats on top of 4 weeks vacation and 5 personal days - I am going to be taking a LOT of time off soon!!!

I know the feeling. I took 4 weeks off for the wedding, I have been building up comp times for years and it seems so weird that almost the entire month of July is blocked off my schedule

WOW! I want your job!! I put in my schedule...I've been working part time while I finish school so I told work that I'd negotiate salary etc and start full time after the wedding. This way we can take 2 weeks and it won't come out of my vaca and I can take time off before the wedding and it won't matter b/c I'm full time hourly anyway! ***** money wise but FH is glad that one of us can take care of the details (and I'm sure that he's glad I'm that person!)

I am a teacher and have off for Easter break but I am first year and wondering what other days to take off... Easter recess runs from April 13-23 which is great but....the wedding is the 28th. I was going to take off only the 28th, that Friday for the wedding. I am a first year teacher also so I hate to take days, even if it is for the wedding. Do you think I should take off more days??
