I am so happy for you. I was one of the people who actually thought you should send it because personally, i would have.

I hope this is the beginning of repairing your friendship. Im sure it fells very good that you could have this person back in your life and although you were hurt, you were able to put your anger aside to reach out to make this friendship work.

take it slow. go out for coffee or something and be there for eachother. even if its just thru emails... sounds like u both need eachother

wow what a touching letter....

i feel like sometimes people don't mean to act the way they do and they do so without realizing...

I am glad the initial communication door is now somewhat open and would suggest grabbing coffee or a quick bite to eat so you guys can sit and catch up.....I am so sure you have a lot of catching up to do..

I don't think I read the letter you sent this person or know the full history. But, i think she handled it very well and obv your letter got through to her.
BUT, part of me feels that she MIGHT be throwing herself a pitty party which always makes me mad. I guess see how she acts now and if anything changes.

I am happy for u that now u know exactly how much u mean to her, for her to admit the fault and not play the blame game, that takes guts. better ppl wouldnt be able to do that. def one of the hardest things to do.
I see now why it was so important for u to give her one last chance, and why u wanted so badly to keep her in ur life

Her letter does sound sincere.
I've battled depression in the past, and in the absolute worst of times, I cut a LOT of people out of my life. I know what that's like, to just cut yourself off from people...it's not fun, but when you hate yourself so much you don't really realize why anyone would want to be around you in the first place.
You should take it slow...the friendship will need time to heal, but I hope you guys are able to get back what you had!
