So last night my FH was out with his best man, (who we lovingly call dupree...as in Dupree from you, me and dupree), and he was saying how his girlfriend just booked a trip for them.
FH asked when it was, and told him to make sure he was here for the wedding. Have no fear, he is going to be here for the wedding, but leaving the monday after (Wait, so are we....)
So FH asks him where they are going. Um, yeah, they are going to ARUBA. Wait, we leave Monday to go to ARUBA.
FH asks him where they are staying. He says the Occidental. Wait...we are staying at the Occidental.

Yes girls, our Dupree willbe on our honeymoon for 7 out of the 8 days we will be away. You cant make this stuff up.

I just came across this and I can't stop laughing. I have a dupree too & I actually call him that!! He lived with us at one point when him and his gf broke up. This would so happen to me!! As long as they respect your space, you might actually find it nice to have a couple you know there with you, it could make it more fun!

Hahaha, don't you just love them?? I wake up a couple of times a month to him sleeping on our couch. He is in FDNY, so he really only works a few days a month, so when he isn't working, he likes to keep us 'company'.

Like I said, I love him to pieces, so I can't even be mad (especially since it was unintentional...)

You really can't make this stuff up. I know a girl who was on this website and made friends with another girl from this site and they booked their HMs to the same place and went on double dates with their DHs on their HMs.

All of the guys keep joking that him and his GF will get in a fight while they are there, and he will be knocking on our door to let us have him crash on the couch.

Justto add to how hysterical he is...I was away Saturday night to see my girlfriends from college..and just went to do laundry. My scrubs were in the hamper (FH is 6'8', and would never fit in them). When I asked him who was wearing my clothes, he laughed and said...who else...dupree. My BM (and neighbor) said he was wearing them out hanging out on her deck when they all got home from the bar. Does he want to borrow some panties too??? I just can't...
