You think this is a scam??

In the newsday today there was an ad from a company looking for people to work from home using their own laptops or desktops to sell this companies products on ebay. The ad said that you will get paid weekly.

Does anyone think this is real or do you think it is some sort of scam. There was a 1 800 phone number.

Well I am sceptical of anything like that but maybe you can look them up in the BBB?

BB has a search by phone # that you could try.. maybe that would work?

I usually think things are scams when they ask for money up front. I would call them and see what they have to say.

Maybe not a scam per se, but usually anything that sounds too good to be true, is. So, I would call and find out what the 'catch' is.

I've seen that, or similiar companies..usually they are REAL, but you have to prove your e-bay knowledgable before they pay you , and when they do, its like 2-3% ....so it doesnt ADD up real fast, but might work as a weekend job..something for some pocket cash.

I called this 1800 number a while back (or one similar) and it was a total scam. I wound up hanging up on him. Dont' remember the specifics.

There was an ad in the Pennysaver a while back about a postal office position. I was so psyched about it and called up and one of the first things they asked for was my credit card number so they could send me my '$80 study package'. I was like, umm...no...

a bride had mention a way back...
i've seen acutally companies though just hire someone to take care of ebay transactions, feedback, etc...

i have an ebay store around the corner.

if you search ebay, you will see how you can open up your own real physical ebay store.
