OMG, do we have the same aunt??? My aunt actually threw a stink, cried like a baby and complained to the world because we were going to get married on her 50th birthday. We changed the date for other reasons, but I was sick to my stomach hysterical crying for a whole day when she called and asked this. Some people haven't a CLUE!!!!! Tell her to throw her son a party the following weekend.

OH MY GOD!!!! GET THIS!!!!!! FH's aunt HAD THE NERVE to call us yesterday and leave a message on our machine (3 actually - b/c they were so long she kept getting cut off.) And she started by saying, 'Hi guys, it's Aunt So and so....blahblah blah....I want to congratulate you and say that her son (FH's cousin) is graduating from HS the day of our wedding and it's his special day (the graduation is in the morning) and we don't know if we'll be able to make the wedding.... CAN YOU CALL THE INN AT EAST WIND AND RESCHEDULE YOUR WEDDING FOR ANOTHER DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' And the madness continues when she says, It's his special day and it's not fair to him and if she wants to throw a party on Sunday the day after our wedding no one will come b/c they went to your wedding the day before and it's not fair to him BLAH BLAH BLAH....' Is she crazy!!!?!?!?!?!!??!!!! She left 3 messages and they were sooo long and she went on and on and on and on. I was PISSED!!! HF called his mom and we played the messages for her and his dad. His mother (that was her sister) is FUMING MAD!!! I don't know what happened yet but I know I was upset for a while. Am I wrong for being upset???![]()

i'm sure she just wants to be able to come to your wedding without distraction, and she probably didn't really think before leaving you those messages. high school graduation is a big deal, and your wedding is a big deal, and she wants her son to be able to attend your wedding too. people don't realize everything that goes into planning a wedding and choosing a date, and it's really easy to just say change it...but we all know it's not that easy.

That is why I choose to have my wedding in October, because I knew if we did it in May or june, it would be someones gradution day and his family would have told us the same thing! Be greatful its just his aunt and not his mother!
