FSIL is only going to be 17 when we have the Bachlorette party. Is she still too young to be included or should she be invited. We plan on doing a sex toy party and going to Lips (tranys show/resturant). She is very mature for her age and is definatly not nieve. But Do you think see is too young?

Re: Young bridesmaids
I work with kids this age and even though they might be mature....I don't think its appropriate for her to be there. Also what do her parents think? I know my parents would have never let me go to something like that at 17. JMO

Errr...I Think it would be inappropriate even for a 17 year old. Those parties can be OUT there. I would def check with Mom first

Re: Young bridesmaids
Ok my mom doesn't even know about the sex toy part. AS for the Tranny Show her mom said that was fine already but I don;t think she knows how crazy they can be. ANd She is very mature for her age, It's not that she just thinks she is.

Re: Young bridesmaids
Well, you probably have to be 18 or 21 for Lips so that's a no go, but I'd invite her to the sex toy party. I'd invite my sister who is also 17 and a BM and not naive in the least. I wish my sister could come, but we're going to Vegas.
ETA: 16 is the cut off age? Then definitely let her go! I know my sis would love to! It'd be a learning experience. LOL!

Re: Young bridesmaids
I was in a bridal party when I was 17 for my brother and I did not go to the bachorlette party...I was too young they were going to places you had to be 21 to drink and get in

Re: Young bridesmaids
Have you been to Lips before? I heard it's very much like Lucky Chengs and I had my 25th birthday at lucky chengs and some of MY friends couldn't believe the stuff that was going on. There was also a SWEET SIXTEEN and a bachelorette party going on in the same room and I don't know how comfortable I'd be letting my teenage daughter go there.
One of the tranny performers had the 16 year old birthday girl on stage and performed stimulated sex acts on her including FLIPPING HER UPSIDE DOWN AND PULLING THE THONG OUT OF HER PANTS!
I and one girl from each party also had a oral sex off on bananas.
She may be mature but I still don't think it is appropriate and I'm not exactly a square. Like another bride said, her mom would know best.

I dont think she is old enough to go, mature or not. Maybe you can do something special with her

Re: Young bridesmaids
Yeah, she can definitely go. I've been to Lucky Chengs and Lips and Lucky Chengs is MUCH worse. If she's mature and thinks she'll be comfortable with it, I say 'why not'? She's presumably almost college age and will see much worse in college...

Re: Young bridesmaids
I don't think it's appropriate, even if she is mature for her age. Maybe the girls can agree to do a 'clean' dinner beforehand that she can be invited to, and then go home.

Re: Young bridesmaids
I think you could include her if you did something else for dinner and then went to Lips. But a sex party and Lips, not appropriate at 17.
My friend did a Hibachi Grill first to include her half-sister and I did dinner before the bars to include my younger cousins. I think thats the only appropriate way to include her.
