At work, I started singing the 'I Touch Myself' song (lots of memories with that song and my gay boy babysitter who wore red converse, anywho...) and then my friend joined, and pretty soon, we were all sining, and well, touching ourselves and this infant comes up to me and is like, 'What are you doing? That song *****, etc. etc.'
I said, 'For shame yungun, how dare you mock the greatness that is the Divinyls and 'I touch myself.' And she looked at me like this---->
So I was like, 'Yeah, well, you probably just grew boobies last year!'
It's soooo sad that these teenagers missed out on the amazingness of the late 80s and early 90s...they're screwed because they didn't get to experience walking like an egyptian OR go through their dirty, flannel shirts around the waist with Airwalk sneakers phase....

Tell me about it. I was running the teen advisory board meeting at work tonight and the kids were all gushing about the jonas brothers and other bands they love. I mentioned that new kids on the block were back together and they looked at me and said 'who?' I felt sooo old.
